Paul A. Thompson, 82, of Franklin, NC, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL and Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully December, 27th, 2012.

Born in South Weymouth, MA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Beryl Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy, Richard and Robert Thompson. Paul lived a long and full life and enjoyed his home in Franklin, NC with his dog and best friend, Benji. Besides his love of cars and his daily driving trips to explore the area, he most enjoyed working on his land and tending his gardens. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He leaves behind a nephew, Jerry Thompson and family of Hanson, MA, Geraldine Spring and family of High Point, NC and Donna Cannizzaro and family all of Port Charlotte, FL.
