Paul Arthur Sears, 62, of Franklin, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Gordon A. Sears and Ena Mae Stauts Sears. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Sears. Paul was a member of First United Methodist Church; a member of the SDI; a member of the National Guard where he served as Chaplain; and a certified Jungian Spiritual Director. He enjoyed history and science and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Sears; three children, Meghan Ruth Sears, Ian Arthur Sears and Wesley Sears all of Franklin; one brother, Steve Sears (Mary) of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Vicki Sears and Cyndi Sears both of Lee Summit, MO; and two grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19 at First United Methodist Church. Rev. David Beam will officiate.
