Paul Keith Kloko was born in Niles, Michigan on August 31, 1935, the son of Ervin Louis Kloko and Berniece Bowersox Kloko. He attended high school in Niles and Sturgis, Michigan. He married Emelyne Lane on February 12, 1954. He worked for the U.S. Post Office in Sturgis until 1963, then moved out west for four years. After getting an associate degree in electronics, they returned to Michigan in 1967, where he worked as an Electronics Technician for Lear Siegler, Inc. in Grand Rapids and later Honeywell, Inc. In 1968, he did an 11 week stint as a civilian technician working on fighter planes at an air force base in Thailand. From 1970 to 1972, he operated his own diner, The T.K. Corral, in Middleville, Michigan. Moving to Bronson, Michigan, he worked as a electrician at Kraft Foods, Eckrich Foods and Burr Oak Tool and Die until 1980. Then the family moved to the Sarasota/Bradenton area of Florida, where he worked as a technician for Comcast Cable. Due to poor health, he retired in 1996 and moved to Franklin.
Paul was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman. He was also an accomplished woodworker, making many interesting items in a shop that he had designed and built himself. He was also a natural musician, able to play the saxophone, piano and guitar by ear. He was a lifelong singer, having participated in many award-winning barbershop quartets in Michigan and Florida from the 70's through the 90's, and he was active in church choir until the end of his life.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Dale and Wesley and by his sisters Doris McDonald and Beulah "Carolyn" Pfauth. He is survived by his wife Emmy, his sons, Randy and Paul, his daughters, Kathy and Jane, and six grandsons: Jerrod, Curtis and Dustin Crider, Wesley and Eric Otto and Kieffer Kloko.
