Paul Ervin Conley, 66, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Joseph L. Conley and Hattie Mae Collier Conley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Conley Grant. Paul was an avid outdoors man and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two children, Dewayne Smith and wife Christie and Brandy Conley both of Franklin; sister, Sallie Conley Manus and husband Kenneth of Young Harris, GA; two brothers, Turner Conley Sr. and wife Connie of Franklin and David Conley Sr. of Franklin; grandson, Tyler Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman and Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in Maidens Chapel UMC Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19th, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Smith, Russell Dalrymple, Sandy Swafford, Rodney Bryant, Barry Bryant and Jerry Stillwell.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
