Patsy Irene Holbrooks Hurst, 63, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of Bob Holbrooks and Mary Jane Whitehead Holbrooks. Patsy enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband John Joseph Hurst; one daughter, Stephanie Hurst of the home; five brothers and sisters, Bobby Holbrooks (Cindy), Tim Holbrooks (Linda), Rita Weyh (Michael), Tony Holbrooks (Kimberly Smith) and Lisa Francisco (Matthew) all of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18th at Sugarfork Baptist Church. Rev. Gene Hawkins and Rev. Ronnie Branson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 17th at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Holbrooks, Jacob Doster, Andrew Ward, Randy Hines, Roy Hurst and Richard Stewman.
