Obituary
Ova Mae Greene, 71, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Ben Bow Dills and Lassie Hastings Dills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Ova loved to sing and attended Olive Hill Gospel Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Wyatt of Alabama; a son, Richard Greene of Franklin; special "adopted" daughter, Sandra Bradley of Franklin; brother, Boyd Dills of Franklin; sister, Betty Sue Dills of Franklin; three grandchildren, Tiffaney, Caden and Fletcher and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11th, at Olive Hill Gospel Chapel. Rev. Barry Bowman will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses, PO Box 1175, Franklin, NC 28744.
