Obituary
Ollie Mae Dills McCarty, 80, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Thursday, February 9, 2006.
A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late James Harve Dills and Addie Estelle McClure Dills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Hugh McCarty who died January 10, 2005 and three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Mertis L. Gibson, Barbara Fouts and Jo Ann Fouts all of Franklin; one brother, Ray Dills of Franklin; one sister, Margie Starnes of Statesville, NC; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gary McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in the Cowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Fred Dills, Alfred Gibson, Ronnie Joseph Dills, Rick Dills, Sydney Starnes and Jeff Starnes.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
