Obituary
Norman Knott, 77, of Franklin, passed away Friday, December 19, 2008.
Born in Leyton, London, England, he was the son of the late Herbert Knott and Catherine Pollard Knott. Norman was a member of the Royal Air Force (R.A.F.). He was a member of the Race Walker Association where he received the Centurion Award. He was legal custodian for the Southeast Bank, Miami, FL. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Knott; daughter, Caroline Amoon and husband Alec of Otto; grandchildren, Lily and Ben and a brother, John Knott and wife Joyce of England.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 22, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Binger will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Macon Co. Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
