Obituary
Norma Bennett-Lange, 85, of Franklin passed away Monday, March 25, 2019.
Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Karl Otto Wilke and Elizabeth Wilke Konopka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karla Young. Norma attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Waynesville, NC and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Knights of Columbus. She loved pets, birds, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dan Lange of Franklin; children, John Bennett Jr. of Magnolia, AR, Diane Dodge of Daytona Beach, FL, Susan Wall of Mt. Dora, FL, Patriacia Cusimano of Gainesville, FL, Stephen Bennett of Apopka, FL, Kimberly Ratts of Hialeah FL, Michelle Schwartz of Stokesdale, NC, Douglas Lange of Jacksonville, FL, and Christopher Lange of Hayesville, NC; 24 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am, Thursday, April 4 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Franklin. Father Tien Duong will officiate.
