Nina Downs, 87, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Cherryville, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Stanley Williams and Dora Ava Lona Bingham Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Billy Downs who died in 2002.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Doffee of Cleveland, TN and Jane Glabman of Boynton Beach, FL; a son, James Franklin Downs of Sanford, FL; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9th in Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
