Nelda Ann Deitz Moses, 66, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
Born in Jackson Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late Marcellus Deitz and Julia Buchanan Deitz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marcellus Deitz Jr. and Kenyan Deitz. Nelda was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Athen "Junior" Moses; two children, Teressa Lane of Franklin and Terry Moses of Keys, FL; sister, Geraldine Robinson of Dillsboro and Harold Edward Deitz also of Dillsboro; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Lee Seebach, Jake Seebach, Kenneth Mashburn, Earl Holland, Freddy Holland and Harold Crisp.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
