My Loved One – Neil Terry
I can't find the words to express the loss of my best friend, my husband, Neil Terry who recently passed away. The pain is greater than I could ever have imagined. What's worse it was so sudden. We were able to share a wonderful 27th Christmas together of which I am eternally grateful. I was able to take this one last picture of Neil with the camera he left under our Christmas tree for me this year.
Neil led a very productive life and never knew a stranger. He once spent a great deal of time convincing a young boy afflicted with cerebral palsy that he was no more handicapped than anyone else. Neil gave this child courage to learn how to ride a bike and play ball. He even showed him with knee pads and elbow pads he could roller skate, whether he took a few falls or not. Neil took care to feed the doves and varieties of birds that came to spend the winters with us. They are such a joy to have around, especially during the cold season when their food supply is low. They help cheer me up.
Neil, I know you are surrounded by "The Good Man's Light". You will make a great and mighty warrior helping to conquer the great battle of evil.
I am so very proud of you. You will always be "My Mr. Magic".
Missing you,
Your Little One
