Ned Hurst, 93, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007.
Born in Montana, Ned lived most of his life in Macon County. He was the son of the late John C. and Mary Jenkins Hurst. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Hurst and Burdell Christophel.
He is survived by a number of nieces, and one nephew; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Snowhill Methodist Cemetery. Rev. Donna Cobb will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Snowhill United Methodist Church, 330 Snowhill Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
