Obituary
NEAL NORMAN HONERKAMP, 56, of Franklin, North Carolina passed away October 31st comfortably at home.
He was born in St. Charles, Missouri on January 10, 1949. He graduated Duchesne High School in 1967. In 1969, he joined the Air Force and served three tours in Southeast Asia. He met and married Cathy Anderson while stationed at Homestead Air Force Base, FL. Neal and Cathy raised their family in Miami and recently moved to Franklin, NC to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Neal was a long time employee of Sky Products and the owner of South Dade Home Repair Company. He was passionate about racing cars, and also enjoyed building and riding motorcycles. The family wishes to express special thanks to George, Richard, Carlos and Mike for being the best friends a person could have. Neal is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; children, Kelly (Jason) Maisa , and Michael (Mariela) Honerkamp; parents, Harold and Jeanette Honerkamp; brother, Craig Honerkamp (Julie); sisters, Debbi McLaughlin (Ben) and Jill Honerkamp.
Services: Held at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles, Missouri. In lieu of
flowers, masses or American Cancer Society.
