Myrtle Christine Seay, 82, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011.

Born in Macon Co., she was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Sanders and Maggie Christine Snyder Sanders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Seay and an infant son. Myrtle was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she was outgoing and friendly and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Seay; son, Kenny Seay; two daughters, Dianne Hooper and husband Frank and Wanda Ledford and husband Tony all of Franklin; two sisters, Anna Mason of Franklin and Lorene Scott; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Fouts, Rev. Steve Reeves, Rev. Stacy Woods and Rev. Mark Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in the Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26 at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Hooper, Tracy Hooper, Tony Ledford, Jay Drake, Eddie Mason and Austin Bishop.

Lane Hooper will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
