Obituary
Muriel Rae "Brendy" Snell, 91, of Franklin, passed away Monday,January 10, 2011.
A native of Dunn Center, ND, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick William August Brendemuhl and Sarah Belle Swanson Brendemuhl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Frank William Snell; a daughter, Julie Anne Snell and two sisters, Margaret Baird and Jeanette Roberts. Brendy and her husband moved to Franklin in 1981 from Panama City, FL. She was a Registered Nurse; volunteer for Hospice and Smoky Mountain Host and was a very active member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three children, Linda Rahija of Memphis, TN, Fred C. Snell of Franklin, NC and David Snell of Robbinsville, NC and one grandchild, Bryan Rahija of Washington, DC.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 15 at the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor John Brunner will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
