Obituary
Milton Earl Goodale, 74, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012.
Born in Edwards, NY, he was the son of the late Maurice H. Goodale and Mildred Solon Goodale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Morley Goodale; a grandson, Josh and three great grandchildren. Milton loved going for rides, mowing lawns and enjoyed helping others and living life to the fullest. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by three children, Melody Revette of Duncanville, TX, Justin Goodale of Franklin and Annette Goodale of Lakeland, FL; adopted daughter, Serena Shampine of Franklin; brother, Merton Goodale of Rochester, NY; sister, Margie Solon of Sunnydale, CA; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22nd, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Darren Cochran will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to the Macon County Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
