Obituary
Mildred Sue Jones Crisp, 65, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010.
Born in Macon Co. she was the daughter of Grady Jones and the late Effie Mae Martin Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas MacArthur Crisp who passed away May 23, 2010; son, Tony Crisp; brother, Doug Jones and two sisters, Margaret Jones and Joanne Maney. Sue worked for Highlands Cashiers Hospital as an LPN and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Watson of Franklin and Renee Parker and husband Bryan of Franklin; four grandchildren, Josh Parker, Mitchel Green, Bridget Sanders and Alisha Crisp and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Hayes and Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate. Burial will be in the Windy Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Taylor, Michael Taylor, Randy Taylor, Bryan Parker, Troy Crisp Jr. and Zachary Jones.
Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
