Obituary
Mickey Ralph Tallent, 58, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019.
Born in Lake County, FL, but raised in Clayton, GA. He was the son of the late Harry Ralph Tallent and Frankie McCall Tallent. Mickey attended Mount Hope Baptist Church and was involved with church league softball for many years. He loved wood-working, watching wrestling and the Atlanta Braves.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Teresa Stamey Tallent; two children, Amy Demont (Gionny) and Brian Tallent both of Franklin; grandson, Lucas Demont of Franklin; one sister, Mary Jo Hedden of Tiger, GA; two nieces, Kindle Moss of Hiawassee, GA, and McKenzi Brumby of Cumming, GA; and one nephew, Major Moss of Hiawassee, GA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 21st, at Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Rathbun House, 121 Sherwood Rd, Asheville, NC 28803.
