Michele Anne Evans, 40, of Otto, NC, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016.

Born in Milton, FL, she was the daughter of John G. Everitt and Gayle Gerber Everitt. Michele was Methodist by faith and a graduate of Milton High School, class of 1993. As a Marine lead spouse she was the recipient of the Molly Pitcher Award from General James L. Jones, Commandant, USMC. She enjoyed growing plants and vegetables, but more importantly she loved being involved in her children's sports. Whether it was when she was keeping score for Delaney's softball team or Conner's baseball team or whenever she was coaching Kaitlyn's Miracle League Baseball team.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Patrick Kelly Evans; three children, Kaitlyn Nycole Evans of Milton, FL, Delaney Marie Evans and fiancé David Taylor of Otto, NC and Conner Riley Evans of Otto, NC; mother and father-in law, Ken and Linda Evans of Otto; three brothers, Johnathan Dean Everitt and wife Rita of Ft. Bragg, CA, Michael Christian Everitt and wife Adina of Franklin, VA and Shawn Patrick Everitt and wife Jessica of Milton, FL; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Avalon Baptist Church in Milton, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Special Olympics of Santa Rosa County, Florida.
