Obituary
Michael Scott Knibbs, 47, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018.
Born in Tiffin, Ohio, he was the son of Michael Knibbs and Linda Maglott Knibbs of Old Town, FL. Scott worked in tree service and enjoyed bowling, playing softball and riding motorcycles. He loved being outdoors. Scott was a member of the Cullasaja Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Missy Bolick Knibbs; three children, Ashley Coleman (Brandon), Megan Knibbs, and Scotty Knibbs, all of Franklin, NC; one sister Cindy Carpenter (Scott) of Massillon, OH; two grandchildren, Levi Knibbs and Bryce Coleman; one nephew Calvin Carpenter; one niece Hannah Carpenter; mother and father-in-law, Arbutus and Larry Bolick of Franklin; two brothers-in- law, Larry Bolick (Liana), and Eric Bolick (Courtney) all of Franklin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Cullasaja Assembly of God. Rev. Forest Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 11am until noon prior to the Memorial Service at the church.
