Obituary
Michael Frederick Jacobs, 54, of Franklin, passed away May 19, 2011.
Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, he was the son of Frances Faye Faulkner Jacobs of Cincinnati, OH and the late Jerome Arthur Jacobs. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Catholic faith. Michael enjoyed outdoor activities, swimming, travel & electronics.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Edwards Jacobs; two children, Shannon Shemwell of Ramstein, Germany and Christopher Jacobs of Franklin; three brothers, Derek, Richard and Martin all of Ohio; three grandsons, Seth, Levi and Mica Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the home.
Memorial donations can be made to the Macon County Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
