Obituary

Michael Ray Holland, 58, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015.

Born in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of Pearl Angel Holland and the late V.L. Holland. Mike was a U.S. Army veteran; member of Emmanuel Baptist Church; was self- employed as appliance repairman and was a minister of the gospel.

In addition to his mother, Pearl Angel Holland, he is survived by his son, Casey Holland of Franklin; sister, Bonnie Manogue of Franklin; three half sisters, Helen Newton and Edna Staton both of Hendersonville and Jeannie Rhodes of Everglade City, FL; three half brothers, Bill Parris of Brevard, Tony Rhodes of Everglade City, FL and Tom West of Horse Shoe, NC; nephew, Gary Gibson; several nieces and nephews and he was expecting his first granddaughter, Callie.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 13, at Grace Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Rodriguez, Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Mike Chastain will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Gary Gibson, R.L. Gibson, Rocky Gibson, Reggie Brown, Chandler Sanders and Cody McClure.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
