Michael Adam Green, 22, of Candler, NC, formerly of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2006.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of Richard Arthur Green and Kathryn Bradley Bates. Adam was a member of the Civil Air Patrol at Franklin High School. He was currently a student at UNC Asheville. Adam enjoyed outdoor activities and loved his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Richard Arthur Green and his wife, Pat and Kathryn Bradley Bates and husband Vincent all of Franklin, he is survived by his wife, Misty Brooke Keith Green; one brother, Mitchel Green of Franklin; two sisters, Ashlend Bates and Brittany Green both of Franklin; maternal grandparents, Mildred and Andy Bradley of Franklin; paternal grandparents, Arthur Green, Jr. and wife Judy and Virginia Cassada all of Franklin.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 1, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
