Mellissa Dawn Rose Mathis, 19, of Franklin, died Friday, July 19, 2019.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Tommy Mathis and Jennifer Roberts Higdon.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Betty Roberts and Don Richards; fiance, Nicky List; stepchildren, Angel Hartkopf and Nathan Hartkopf; brothers and sisters, Dalton Mathis, Catrina Mathis, Brandon Mathis, Kayla Mathis, Lindsey Higdon and Billy Higdon and many friends and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the home of Tommy Mathis, 1438 Lake Emory Road, Franklin.
Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
