Maxine Carver Wilson, 68, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Hayes Junior and Ruth Pauline Passmore Carver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant; her brother, Bobby Carver; and infant sister, Linda Ann Carver.

Maxine was a member of the Olive Hill Gospel Chapel. She loved tending to her garden and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, William Scott (Susan) of Highlands, NC, Adalia Lynn Wykle of Sylva, NC, Michael Carver of Franklin, NC, Nicolle Cameron of Kissimmee, FL, and Bobby Cameron of Toledo, Ohio; siblings, Faye Carver, Nella Carver, and Rosie Green (Raymond) all of Franklin. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Friday, August 27, 2021, at Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery at 2:30pm. Rev. Barry Bowman and Rev. Oliver Rice will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1pm till 2pm on Friday, August 27, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
