Maude Adams Payne, 82, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007.
Born in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Alvin Adams and Victoria Walker Adams. She was married to the late Don Payne. Maude retired in 1996 from Alabama Dept. of Youth Services where she worked as a registered nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Rick Payne and Jim Payne both of Franklin; one sister, Elizabeth Horton of Franklin; one granddaughter, Ashley Payne; and a number of nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
