Obituary
Maude Marcine Fouts, 86, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017.
Born in Winston Salem, NC, she was the step-daughter of the late John Wando Fouts and Marie Frady Fouts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Setser. Maude was retired from Belden; she a member of Iotla Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gay Fouts; two children, Gerald Fouts and wife Karen and Wanda Alligood and husband Blake both of Franklin; four grandchildren, Amanda, Zach (Melissa), Tiffany (David) and Angie and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Guy Duvall will officiate. Burial will be in Fouts Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Lynch, Jim Fouts, Mike Fouts, Zach Fouts, Blake Alligood and David Sherwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Highlands-Cashiers Hospital.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
