Matthew Ryan Hodgin, 20, of Franklin, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of Barbara Trammel and the late Danny "Red" Hodgin, who died November 20, 2011. Matt graduated from Franklin High School in 2010. He loved being outdoors, hiking and four wheeling. He enjoyed playing X-Box and hanging out with his friends. Matt will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Odell Hodgin and Mary Ledford Hodgin; maternal grandmother, Frances Earline Cruse; two brothers, Chris and Justin Hodgin both of Franklin; two nephews, Aiden and Tyler Hodgin and many special friends and family.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 28th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Seeger and Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Burial will be in Hodgin Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27th, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Palmer Ramsey, Seth White, Josh Gregory, Jonathan Moore, Dale Dallman, Benny Phillips and Travis Waldroop.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
