Obituary
MaryJane Yacks, 85, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016.
Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Carl Streicher and Lorinda Zaddach Streicher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reny J. Yacks who died in 1997; one son-in law, Roger Uccetta and two brothers, Sheldon and Donald Streicher. MaryJane was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, member of Franklin Garden Club and former volunteer at Angel Medical Center.
She is survived by three children, Debra Uccetta and Mike Yacks and wife Jodi both of Franklin and Bradley Yacks and wife Susan of New Holland, PA; six grandchildren, Ashley, Julian, Danielle, Janna, Michael and Chelsie and one great grandson, Kayden.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 22, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue, 851 Lake Emory Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
