Obituary
Mary Ann Stamey Watts, 65, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2006.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of Grace Bates Stamey and the late Howard Cleveland Stamey. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew, John Stamey. She was a member of Black Mountain Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 44 years, Derald Watts; three brothers, Jack, Sherrill and Lloyd Stamey all of Franklin; and loving nieces and nephew, Diane Queen, Darlene Elkins, Tracy Jones, Scott Stamey and Jamie Stamey.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Burial will be in the Rush Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 17, at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
