Mary Lee McDonald, 85, of Franklin, entered into rest on Monday, January 16, 2006.

A native of Hoboken, GA, she was the daughter of the late Dewey S. Griffin and Macie Aultman Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Davis McDonald, who died October 27, 2005; two brothers and two sisters. She was a member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL.

She is survived by a son, Wayne McDonald of Franklin, a daughter, Patsy Nettles of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Malcome Griffin of Hoboken, GA; a sister, Jackie Dowling of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren, five step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, at Town & Country Funeral Home, Jacksonville, FL. Burial will be in the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at Town & Country Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holly Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, or the Second Mile Ministry, 366 Holly Springs Baptist Church Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
