Mary "Louise" McConnell, 78, of Franklin, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016.

Born in Clayton, GA, she was the daughter of Kay McDowell Ledford and the late Ellis James Ledford. She was preceded in death by her husband Millard B. McConnell. Louise enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and puzzles. She was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by four children, Joseph McConnell and wife Geneva, Patrick McConnell and wife Carol, Mark James McConnell and wife Margaret and Debra Maize all of Franklin; two brothers, Doug Ledford and wife Beverly and Dearl Ledford and wife Kay both of Franklin; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Randy Drinnon will officiate. Burial will be in Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Petiton, Aaron, Christopher and Matthew McConnell, Jeb Maize and Cade Doolittle.
