Obituary
Mary Ellen Green, 88, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011.
Born in Macon Co., she was the daughter of the late Hamilton Samuel Green and Daisy Earnhardt Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Colen Samuel Mulkey and three brothers, D.T. Green, Charles Green and Sam Green. Mary loved her family and was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Mulkey of Franklin, Marvin Wallace Mulkey of Winchester, TN and John Hamilton Mulkey of Memphis, MI; a daughter, Sherry Johnson of Franklin; a brother, William Green of Detroit, MI; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 at Louisa Chapel UMC. Rev. David Crunkleton will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
