Obituary
Mary Jean Dreml, 70, of Franklin, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017.
Born in Rabun Co, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Eugene Baldwin and Helen Henderson Simmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Eugene Baldwin and a sister, Dana Shope. Mary loved painting, reading, arts and crafts and floral arrangements. She had amazing patience while doing arts and crafts. She attended Union United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Hans Dreml; three children, Kristein, Patty and Heidi Dreml all of Franklin; one sister, Margaret Elizabeth Anderson of DeQuincy, LA; one brother, Fritz Simmons of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Jordan Jenkins, Noah Jenkins, Ethan Dreml, Kayla Dreml, Elliott Engelking, Erica Engelking and Cole Dreml; uncles, Louie Henderson, Vernon Henderson; aunt, Mary Jo Henderson and her daughters, Jill and Jamie and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to CarePartners Hospice, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
