Mary Ann Shuler Green, 68, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015.

Born in Topton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clint Shuler and Leona Wright Shuler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Carl Edwin Swanson. Mary Ann worked many years as a teacher's assistant in Macon County. She was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Roy Green; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Morris of Woodstock, GA; one granddaughter, Kennedi Soleil; three sisters, Jerri Smith of Franklin, Doris Turner and husband Jim of Whittier, NC and Sue Ford and husband Larry of Augusta, GA; brother, Joe Benny Shuler and wife Susie of Bryson City, NC and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Mike Bias, Rev. David Crunkleton and Rev. Larry Ford will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Shuler, Heath and Benjie Shuler, Roger Brown, Greg Shuler and Chris Green.
