Obituary
Marvin J. Van Oeveren, 88, of Franklin, entered into rest on Sunday, January 9, 2005.
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of the late John Van Oeveren an Jennie Wierenga Van Oeveren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He retired from Richmond Construction in Sarasota, FL where he worked for 40 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Franklin. He was a member of the Rockford Masonic Lodge #246, Rockford, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Dronkers Van Oeveren; and one son, Ronald M. Van Oeveren and his wife Diana of Destin, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Allen and Rev. Maria Martin will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
