Marlene Boone Jacobs, 88 of Franklin, formerly of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 30,2020.

Ms. Jacobs was born in Whittier, CA on February 28, 1932; the daughter of the late Arthur and Mina Ward Boone. She worked many years in the Fort Bragg School system, was very active in the PEO, and real estate. She will be remembered for her dedication to McPherson Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville. A few of her hobbies include quilting and traveling.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jan Stevens (Jeff) of Franklin, and Julie Taylor (Sonny) of Durham, NC. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Heather Palmer of Atlanta, GA.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, there will be no immediate services. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date in Fayetteville.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Grandview Manor and Care Partners Hospice for their excellent care provided to their loved one.
