Mark Edward Russell, 56, of Franklin, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015.
Born in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of the late Gilbert Clark Russell and Jean Elizabeth Whitley Kelsey. Mark was a member of Franklin Covenant Church; worked for MedWest as a phlebotomist; was an avid sports fan; enjoyed helping others and spending time with his Lord.
He is survived by his daughter, Jordan Jean Russell of Otto; two brothers, Michael Russell and wife Sonja and Frank Kelsey; nephew, Bryan Russell and wife Leslie and their children, Pierce and Paisley; step sister, Kim Glover; step father, Don Kelsey and his beloved cat, Little Man.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22nd at Franklin Covenant Church.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
