Obituary
Marion "Ray" Ledford, 55, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010.
Born in Macon County he was the son of the late Paul Thomas Ledford and Ida Patton Ledford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wig, Lester, Bud, Lawrence and Buck. He was self employed in the construction business; was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Arbor Association.
He is survived by three sisters, Maggie Mason of Franklin, Betty Ann Worley of Otto and Amy Sue Cody of Franklin; two brothers, Curley Ledford of Otto and Thurman Eugene "Gene" Ledford of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 13, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Watson, William Boyce, Hank Rogers, David Ledford, Brian Cody, Tommy Smith and Darren Worley. Honorary Pallbearer will be John Garrison.
