Marilyn Williams, 70, of Franklin, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Frank James and Joy Stanley James. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Paul Williams. She graduated from the University of South Florida; she was very active in Franklin Covenant Church for over 30 years; and she worked at Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center for over 10 years.
She is survived by her children, Seth Williams (Alicia) of Raleigh, NC, David Williams (Summer) of Summerdale, AL, Laura Dailey (JJ) of Spokane, WA, Sarah Jakushev (Luke) of Franklin, NC, Miriam Villanti of Newport, WA; and Anna Williams of Franklin, NC; brother, Allan James of Canada; sister, Pat James of Tallahassee, FL; 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 6 nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 pm, Thursday, December 27 at Franklin Covenant Church. Pastor John Makinson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Franklin Covenant Church.
A private burial was held at Welch Family Cemetery.
