Marilu Ola Giddens, 96, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Born in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Minnie Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Aaron Watkins. Marilu was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, traveling, camping, taking pictures and watching tennis. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Burrell Jack Giddens; two daughters, Cheryl Kay Schrock and husband Larry of Franklin and Paulette Hunt of Coco Beach, FL; one son, Jack Giddens and wife Debbie of Richmond Hill, GA; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Dr. Robert Brown and Rev. Jim Dusek will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
