Marie Crisp Corbin , 94, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin Crisp and Emma Edith Corbin Crisp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jackson Corbin and five brothers and sisters, Helen Taylor, Ila Mae Sorrells, Frank L. Crisp, Grady Crisp and Edith Kell. Marie loved flowers and enjoyed baking and quilting. She was a member of Mtn. Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Nell Corbin Sellers and husband Billy of Franklin; three sons, Lowell Thomas "Tommy" Corbin Sr. and wife Willie of Woodstock, GA, Roy Pinkney Corbin and wife Wanda of Franklin and Eddie Jackson Corbin Sr. and wife Dolly of Saluda, NC; a brother, Roy Crisp of Franklin; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23rd, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Morris Tippett will officiate. Burial will be in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22nd, at Macon Funeral Home.
