Marguerite P. Shaw, 92, of Franklin, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008.
Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Elizabeth Player. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Martin Shaw Sr. and grandson, Randy Beach. Marguerite was a homemaker and has lived in Franklin for 17 years. She was a member of the Bridge Club, Franklin Fitness Center, loved Tai Chi and line dancing. Marguerite was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Lee Shaw of Franklin; one son, James Martin Shaw Jr. and wife Joyce of Ocala, FL; two grandchildren, Susan Marrero of Miami, FL and Debbie Bratz of Isle of Capri, FL; three great-grandchildren, John, Kristi and Derek and one great-great-grandchild, Tyler.
No services have been planned at this time.
