Margie Blanche Southard, 75, of Franklin, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, February 8, 2007.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Lyman and Lassie Anderson Ledbetter. She was married to the late William Porter "Ernie� Southard who passed away July 1974; preceded by an infant daughter, Mary Louise who passed away March 1951; brother Harry Ledbetter who passed 1987. She was a member of the Franklin Church of God and was retired from Belden.

She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Southard of Franklin and Sherri Ross and husband Del of Franklin; four sons, Charles Southard and wife Cindy of Franklin, Tommy Southard of Franklin, James Southard and wife Vickie of Franklin and Steve Southard and wife Denise of Franklin; granddaughters, Heather, Laura, Sonya, Kimberly and Kerri; grandsons, Tony, David, Hank, Trey and Jared; great grandchildren, Brianna, Thomas and Emily; sisters, Essie Dills of Franklin, Dorothy Crisp, Janie Bishop and Wilma Ledbetter all of Canton and Mary Bridges; brothers, Charlie, Joe and David Ledbetter all of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 11, at Franklin Church of God. Rev. Robert Dryman, Rev. Davis Hooper and Rev. Hank Conner will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, February 10, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tony Southard, David Southard, Hank Southard, Charles Southard, Shawn Benscoter, Eddie Dills, Gary Crisp and Ricky Ledbetter.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Bell, Thomas Stewart, Russell Stewart, Willard Southard and Justin Bishop.
