Margaret Bryant Roper, 80, of Franklin, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015.

Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Mark Bryant and Lucinda Poindexter Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Roper and eight brothers and sisters. Margaret loved to garden and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church since she was 6 years old.

She is survived by son, Don Roper and wife Gail of Franklin; two daughters, Diana Roper and Dora "June Moses both of Franklin; sister, Rose Mary McPhatter of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Brianne Moses, Courtney Moses and Mark Roper; great grandson, Logan Roper and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 6th at Oakdale Baptist Church. Rev. Guy Duvall will officiate. Burial will be in Roper Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Randy Roper, Johnny Roper, Lewis Swafford, Chad Agner, Paul Higdon and David Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
