Obituary
Margaret Elizabeth Fuhrer, 82, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010.
Born in East Aurora, NY, she was the daughter of the late Millard Cotton and Florence Benson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Fuhrer Jr. Margaret loved gardening; was an avid baseball fan and loved her pets and animals. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by three children, Maryann White and husband Brian of Bostic, NC, Fred J. Fuhrer III of Alabama and Rynn Fuhrer of Ontario, NY; a brother, Robert Cotton of Sarasota, FL; a sister, Mildred Cama of Webster, NY; a half brother, Thomas Cotton of East Aurora, NY; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
