Obituary
Margaret Lucille Womack Clark, 86, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah McIntyre Womack.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Levi (D.L.) Clark, who she loved and missed greatly; sisters, Josephine Henry, Christine Causey; brothers, Raymond, Sam, Harold and Dover. She was a member of Cowee Baptist Church. Margaret's family was always first and she was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by daughters, Melissa Dover (Jay) of Marion, NC, Donna Leigh Rumsey (Sam) of Clayton, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor, Cody Nations, Chelsea Rumsey and Zachary Rumsey; great grandchildren, McKenzie Taylor, Aidan Taylor, Hadley Rae Rumsey and Alyssa Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with the service following at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 20, at Cowee Baptist Church. Rev. David Powell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Rumsey, Cody Nations, Stuart Taylor, Harold Clark, Clark Sheffield and David Womack.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
