Maggie Ledford Mason, 85, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ledford and Ida Patton Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wymer Mason and brothers and sister, Ray, Lawrence, John, James, Lester, Delano "Bud", Paul Jr. and Amy Sue Cody and a great grandson, Landon Mason. Maggie was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and cooking supper on Sunday's. Most of all she loved being with her family. She was a loving mother, mamaw and great grandmaw.

She is survived by two sons; Danny Mason and wife Dana and Bill Mason all of Franklin; sister, Betty Ann Worley of Franklin; two brothers, Curly Ledford and Gene Ledford both of Franklin; six grandchildren, Toby Mason, Jody Mason and wife Laura, Shawnna Key and husband Michael, Ryan Dunn and wife Amber, Zack Mason and Amanda Mason; nine great grandchildren and two on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Eddie Stillwell, Rev. Frank Rodriguez and Rev. Josh Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Toby Mason, Jody Mason, Zack Mason, Ryan Dunn, Max Mason, Michael Key and Bobby Ledford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Sanders, Brian Cody, Darren Worley, Ronnie Ledford, Larry Ledford and Bruce Sanders.
