Obituary
Lucille Benedict Morris, 92, of Otto, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010.
Born in Hackensack, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Benedict and Anna Ritterbusch Benedict. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Morris who died in 1982 and a sister, Helen Bykeefer. Lucille was an interior designer and an artist. She was an avid gardener and flower grower, she loved birds of all varieties and she loved to paint. She was a member of the Macon County Art Association for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Parker and husband Bob of Otto; two grandchildren, Tammy Green of Otto and John Parker of Franklin; four great grandchildren; niece, Arlene Bykeefer of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and great niece Crystal Dean of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Macon County Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
